Btw, i have been on both sides.. i didn’t realize how judgmental I was myself. God had to humble me to see / face my own hypocrisy and sins… to train me for understanding and compassion.. i am a slow and stubborn learner though. But God is teaching me that shaming is not from God. It is from the enemy to keep us enslaved and deceived. Both sides if we hold on to shame. I have been struggling with shame… it had been a very successful tool of the enemy to keep me from living in freedom and victory that Christ already won for us all on the cross.. it is hard to go to church cause I get discouraged by people by whom we feel judged and shamed… but even one person can make a difference to show God’s love and light and hope. You are doing it by keep attending church. Someone is watching you and is being encouraged by you. :) God bless you, beautiful daughter of King of Kings!!

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I agree with you. Shaming is not from God and we as followers of Christ shouldn't shame people. Instead we should show people love and compassion. It is not our place to judge. That is something I need to work on myself. God bless you and I encourage you to go to church even when you feel discouraged.
